Shaon’s Facebook ID Disappears

Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon. She is no longer very regular in acting or producing. However, she is in the news for her political comments. A few days ago, the actress faced criticism for making objectionable comments about the July Uprising on Facebook. As a result, her Facebook account has now disappeared.
The news regarding Shaon’s ID was shared on social media by her friend and writer Tamanna Sethu. She said that Shaon’s ID has been suspended from Facebook. Sethu wrote on Facebook, ‘Friend Meher Afroz Shaon’s Facebook account has been suspended due to multiple complaints. Earlier, he did not delete the post that created discussion around him.’
Tamanna Sethu also mentioned in her post that Shaon gave this information. Meanwhile, a case has been filed against Shaon and six others at Shahbagh Police Station in the capital for making misleading and objectionable comments on social media and the media regarding the July mass uprising. Leaders of the Rashtriya Sanglap Forum have filed a written complaint.
