Bollywood no longer feels like a ‘family’: Sanjay Dutt

The Hindi film industry has become much more competitive than it was when he entered the industry more than four decades ago. Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt has expressed regret over the changing face of Bollywood. According to him, Bollywood no longer feels like a ‘family’.
In a recent interview on AIG Hospitals’ YouTube channel, the 67-year-old actor said that once upon a time there was a great blend of unity and mutual support in Bollywood. Sanjay Dutt said, “When I started working, this industry felt like a family. Everyone was united, everyone helped each other. But now it has become much more ruthless and competitive. The calculus of Hollywood is different here.”
It is worth noting that Sanjay Dutt made his Bollywood debut in 1981 with the film ‘Rocky’. He then won the hearts of the audience by acting in several blockbuster films like ‘Khalnayak’ and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’. In the interview, the actor also spoke about his bitter experience of jail life. He said that the most valuable lesson he learned while in jail was ‘forgiveness’.
Sanjay Dutt said, “I learned to forgive. A constable there taught me this lesson very well. He told me, ‘Learn to forgive people, then you can grow bigger in life.’ Maybe you know that someone has hurt you, but still forgive him.”
He also said that this quality of forgiveness has completely changed his outlook on life and helped him develop into a better person. Person.
