PHP Football Tournament Completed in Festive Atmosphere
The PHP Family organized Football Tournament 2026 was completed in a very enthusiastic and festive atmosphere. With the aim of further strengthening the bond of friendship and harmony among the members of the PHP Family and as a part of a little entertainment in the busy life, 6 teams formed by players from different units of the PHP Family participated in the tournament organized at the ‘Oxygen Sports Zone’ on Saturday (July 18). The teams are Arabian Warriors, Glass Gladiators, Perudua Road Runners, Paper Phoenix, Spinning Strikers and Iron Titans. In the final of the day-long tournament, the franchise Iron Titans owned by PHP Director Nuved Iqbal defeated the franchise Paper Phoenix by 2-0 goals and won the championship.
Iron Titans’ Moeen won the Golden Boot as the highest scorer of the tournament and Iram of the same team won the Best Player award. In addition, the franchise Arabian Warriors owned by PHP Director Tarzia Anwar received the Fair Play Trophy. After the game, PHP Family Sports Advisor Saifullah Chowdhury hosted the closing and award ceremony, where PHP Motors Limited’s Managing Director Mohammad Akhtar Parvez (Hero) presented the awards to the winners. Among others, PHP Family Vice Chairman Mohammad Mohsin, tournament organizer PHP Director Nuved Iqbal, Director Victor Mohsin, Director Tarzia Anwar and others were present. Earlier, PHP Family Chairman Sufi Alhaj Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and Director Tahmina Mizan inaugurated the colorful tournament as the chief guests.
Yesterday, the ‘Oxygen Sports Zone’ became a gathering place for the PHP Family Board of Directors, PHP Family members and their families on the occasion of the PHP Football Tournament 2026. The organizers announced that they will organize various sports including football, cricket, kabaddi, badminton regularly in the future with the aim of physical and mental excellence of the PHP Family members.
