Mirza Abbas is returning to normal life
Prime Minister’s political advisor and BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas is gradually recovering and returning to normal life. Recently, Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal president and Mirza Abbas’s wife Afroza Abbas informed the media about this information. When rumors about Mirza Abbas’s deteriorating physical condition spread on social media, there was concern among leaders and activists. Afroza Abbas commented on this information as ‘baseless and misleading’. She said, he is much healthier than before. He is gradually returning to normal life. InshaAllah, I will return home with him very soon.
Earlier, on April 10, his personal assistant secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel, who was in Singapore, said that there has been positive progress in his treatment. He is now quite healthy. He is being given regular therapy. Last week, he was able to sit up in bed and later the doctors also made him sit in a chair. He is able to speak a little, which is a positive sign. Four days later, on April 14, he was taken to a rehabilitation center in Malaysia for physiotherapy. His personal secretary Mizanur Rahman Sohel said that after a long treatment at the Singapore General Hospital, his physical condition had improved satisfactorily, so he (Mirza Abbas) was brought to Malaysia for further treatment, including physiotherapy.
He is now much healthier than before. However, to fully regain his physical abilities, he now needs intensive physiotherapy, which is being done in Malaysia. The family has sought prayers from the countrymen for his speedy recovery. The MP from Dhaka-8 constituency suddenly fell ill during Iftar on March 11 and lost consciousness. Although he was initially admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital, he was urgently taken to Singapore by air ambulance on March 15 due to increasing physical complications. After a month of treatment there, he is now out of danger.
Mirza Abbas, who has a colorful political career, won the last 13th National Parliament election from Dhaka-8 constituency by a huge margin. He defeated National Citizens Party (NCP) candidate Nasiruddin Patwari in this election. He is currently a member of parliament and an important political advisor to the Prime Minister.
