UAE lifts travel ban on Lebanon

According to Al Jazeera, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted a two-month ban on travel to Lebanon, allowing its citizens to travel there again. Abu Dhabi authorities announced this on Tuesday (June 30).
The UAE said the ban was imposed due to security concerns surrounding the US-Israeli war against Iran. However, Emirati citizens must register with the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs before traveling to Lebanon.
It is worth noting that on April 30, the UAE imposed a travel ban on citizens of Iran, Lebanon and Iraq. At the same time, all Emirati citizens residing in those three countries were urged to leave the country immediately. However, the ban on travel to Iran and Iraq is still in place. Meanwhile, air traffic between Tehran and Dubai resumed on Monday for the first time since the war began.
