‘Anti-Corruption Commission (AC) will investigate independently if corruption allegations are raised against the interim government’

The Anti-Corruption Commission (AC) will investigate independently if corruption allegations are raised against the advisors of the interim government. The government will not obstruct the investigation. This was said by the Prime Minister’s Information Advisor Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman. He made these comments at a press conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday (June 30) afternoon.
The Information Advisor said that both the government officials and government officials are responsible for the corruption that occurred in the provision of services during the interim government. He said that there was criticism about a section of the Banking Act. The government changed that section in the session, which is a reflection of democracy.
Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman said that the stock of food grains has been increased. As a result, inflation will be under control and farmers will get their due price.
He said that the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Empowerment has allocated Tk 3 million each to 65 opposition MPs. In addition, the Prime Minister’s Information Advisor has also announced the decision to build lightning rods and shelters in 15 high-risk districts to reduce the loss of life and damage due to lightning.
