PM on the way from Dalian to Beijing by bullet train
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman left Dalian for Beijing by high-speed (bullet) train at 2 pm local time today (June 24). He is accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman. Earlier, the Prime Minister attended the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference ‘Summer Davos’ held at the Dalian International Conference Center in China at 10 am local time.
The event, organized by the 17th Annual Meeting of the ‘New Champions’, was attended by Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Guinean Prime Minister Amadou Uri Bah, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Mongolian Prime Minister Niamh Osor Uchral and Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Speich. More than 1,700 representatives from political, business, academic and media circles from more than 90 countries and regions participated in the conference. The Prime Minister’s participation in the ‘Summer Davos’ will not only expand new investment and employment opportunities for Bangladesh, but also enrich and strengthen national capabilities by adopting best practices and experiences from different countries. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited Dalian, China on Monday (June 22).
