Opposition MP falls ill during session, PM inquires
Today, Wednesday (April 29), during the session of the National Assembly, Hafez Rabiul Bashar, the opposition MP from Satkhira-3 constituency, suddenly fell ill. The incident occurred after 1:30 pm. Later, with the help of other MPs and Parliament Secretariat staff, he was taken from the session room to the Parliament lobby. There, doctors gave him first aid.
Meanwhile, during the break for Zohr prayers, Parliament Leader and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman went to the Parliament lobby to inquire about the physical condition of the sick opposition MP and to give instructions for necessary medical treatment.
