One dies of dengue in 24 hours, 338 hospitalized

One person has died of dengue across the country in the last 24 hours. During this period, 338 people have been hospitalized due to dengue. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Tuesday (July 21).
It said that among the dengue patients in the last 24 hours, 76 people were hospitalized in Barisal division, 66 in Chittagong division, 18 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 41 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 76 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 34 in Khulna division, 11 in Mymensingh division, six in Rajshahi division and ten in Rangpur division.
The Directorate General of Health Services said that a total of 11,195 people have been hospitalized with dengue so far this year. Of these, 61.2 percent are men and 38.8 percent are women. 10,125 have recovered from dengue and left the hospital. The Department of Health also reported that a total of 38 people have died from dengue fever this year.
