3 more children die of measles symptoms

In the last 24 hours (from 8 am on Sunday to 8 am on Monday), three more children have died of measles symptoms across the country. During this period, 1,080 people have been newly infected with measles and its symptoms. This information was given in the regular report on measles by the Directorate General of Health Services today (August 3).
The report said that although 3 children died of measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, no child’s death was definitely due to measles.
According to the information of this government agency, 751 children have died of measles symptoms in the country since March 15. And 96 children have died of measles. The total death toll is 847. Earlier, 4 children died across the country in the last 24 hours on Sunday and 1,137 people were newly infected during this period.
