July 12, 2026: How much is a 22-carat gold bhori?
The price of gold has increased in the country’s market with the latest adjustment. A good quality bhori of gold is being sold at 2,24,182 taka, up by 2,216 taka. The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) fixed this new price last Friday. Today, Sunday (July 12) gold is being sold at the same price.
According to the new price, 22-carat gold (11.664 grams) including VAT is being sold at 2,24,182 taka per bhori, 21-carat gold is being sold at 2,14,93 taka per bhori and 18-carat gold is being sold at 1,83,883 taka per bhori. In addition, the price of gold per bhori in the traditional method is being sold at 1,50,232 taka. So far this year, the price of gold has been adjusted 89 times in the country’s market. Of which, the price has been increased 44 times, reduced 44 times and VAT has been adjusted 1 time. And in 2025, the price of gold was adjusted a total of 93 times in the domestic market; of which the price was increased 64 times and decreased 29 times.
