Health Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain has said that the Ad-Din Hospital Authority’s response to the death of 6 children is not satisfactory. He said this at a press conference at the Secretariat today, Wednesday (June 10). The Health Minister said, I have read the response given by the Ad-Din Hospital Authority. However, most of it is unclear. He said, a decision will be taken after discussing the statement.
It is worth noting that in the early hours of May 27, six newborns admitted to the post-operative ward of the Ad-Din Medical College Hospital in the capital’s Moghbazar died within a few hours. After this incident, the Health Department formed a high-level three-member investigation committee.
