Gold prices have further decreased

Gold prices have been further reduced in the country’s market. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 2,158 per bath to Tk 2,35,963. The organization announced this information in a notification on Wednesday (May 20) morning. The new price will be effective from 10 am today. The notification said that the price of pure gold in the local market has decreased. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation.
According to the new price, the price of 21-carat gold is Tk 2,25,232 per bath and the price of 18-carat gold is Tk 1,93,039 per bath. Under the conventional method, the price of gold per bath has been determined at Tk 1,57,231. Earlier, BAJUS last adjusted the price of gold in the country’s market on May 16. At that time, the price of one bhori of 22-carat gold was reduced by Tk 4,374 to Tk 2,38,121.
