Gold prices fall further in 24 hours

Gold prices have fallen again in the country’s domestic market in the span of 24 hours. This time, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 2,216 to Tk 2,42,495 per baht. The organization gave this information in a notification on Wednesday (April 29) morning. The new price will be effective from 10 am today.
The notification said that the price of pure gold in the local market has decreased. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation. According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per baht in the country’s domestic market will be Tk 2,42,495. Earlier, the price of gold was adjusted in the domestic market on the morning of April 28. At that time, the price of 22-carat gold per baht was reduced by Tk 2,216 to Tk 2,44,711.
