Gold bar price reduced by Tk 2,216 in a day
Due to the fall in the price of pure gold, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to reduce the price of gold in the country’s market again in a day. The price of a bar of the highest quality, i.e. 22-carat gold, has been reduced by a maximum of Tk 2,216 to Tk 2,26,340 including VAT.
BAJUS announced this information in a notification on Saturday (June 20) morning. The new price has come into effect from 10 am today.
According to the new decision, the price of a bar of 21-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 2,16,192, a bar of 18-carat gold at Tk 1,85,691 and a bar of traditional gold at Tk 1,51,690. Earlier, BAJUS had last adjusted the price of gold yesterday morning, which came into effect from 10 am today.
