Case against NCP leaders and activists in Habiganj: 11 accused granted bail

The court has granted bail to 11 people including District Chhatra Dal President Shah Rajib Ahmed Ringon in a case filed in connection with the attack on Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) leaders and activists in Habiganj. This Sunday (August 2) afternoon, Habiganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Abdul Mannan granted them bail.
Last Tuesday (July 28), an attack was carried out on the NCP’s July procession in Habiganj. Several leaders and activists, including NCP leader Sarjis Alam, were injured in the incident.
A case was filed on July 30 accusing Habiganj District Chhatra Dal President Rajib Ahmed Ringon and 11 others and several other unidentified persons in this incident. The case was filed by Habiganj District Youth Power Convener Tanmoy Taher Rubel. The accused surrendered in court on Sunday and applied for bail. After the hearing, the court granted them bail.
