Called from home and hacked to death in Bogra
A man named Zahurul Islam (45) was called from his house in Bogra and hacked to death by miscreants. Police recovered his body from a paddy field in Hazradighi village on Tuesday (November 4) morning. Earlier, a murder incident took place in Hazradighi village of Bogra Sadar upazila on Monday (November 3) night.
It is learned that the deceased Zahurul Islam (45) had been living in his in-laws’ house in the area for a long time. He used to drive a van to transport bakery products by profession. Additional Superintendent of Police of Bogra Sadar Circle Mostafa Manjur confirmed this information.
Meanwhile, it is initially known that someone called Zahurul from his house around 11 pm yesterday (November 3). After that, he did not return home. The next morning, locals saw his body lying in the paddy field and informed the police. After receiving the information, the body was recovered by reaching the spot. The body was then sent to the morgue of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMEC) Hospital in Bogra for an autopsy. Bogra Sadar Circle Additional Superintendent of Police Mostafa Manjur told us, “The deceased has multiple injury marks on his head. However, the reason for the murder is not yet known. Work has begun to identify those involved.”
