Body recovered from train roof in Rajbari

GRP police have recovered the body of an unidentified person from the roof of the Madhumoti Express train in Rajbari. The body was recovered from the roof of the Madhumoti Express train on the Rajbari-Rajshahi railway route today, Sunday (July 26), at around 11:30 am.
Rajbari GRP Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter and said that a passenger on the roof of the Dhaka-bound Madhumoti Express train leaving Rajshahi hit the Kalikapur Railway Bridge in Kalukhali Upazila of Rajbari district. He died on the roof of the train. Later, the Railway Police recovered the body on receiving information. His identity was identified and further legal proceedings are underway.
He said, the Railway Police is vigilant about traveling on the roof of trains. Even then, some people risk their lives to climb on the roof of the train. We always bring them down from the roof of the train from the station. Everyone should be alert.
