2 more people die of dengue in 24 hours, 306 hospitalized

In the last 24 hours, 2 people have died of dengue across the country. The death toll has increased to 32 so far this year. At the same time, 306 more people have been hospitalized. This information was given by the Directorate General of Health Services in its regular dengue report on Thursday (July 16).
It said that 2 people have died of dengue in Dhaka division in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, the highest number (95) of dengue patients have been hospitalized in Dhaka division during this period. In addition, 66 people have been hospitalized in Chittagong division, 58 in Barisal division, 38 in Khulna division, 23 in Rangpur division and 13 each in Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions, making a total of 26 dengue patients hospitalized.
A total of 32 people have died of dengue from January 1 to Thursday this year. Of these, the highest number of deaths were in Dhaka division (17). In addition, 5 people died of dengue in Mymensingh division, 4 in Chittagong division, 3 in Khulna division, 2 in Barisal division and 1 in Rajshahi division during the mentioned period.
