10 people die of dengue in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 10 people have died of dengue, a mosquito-borne disease, across the country. This information was given in a report sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (November 5). The report said that 1,069 people have been admitted to hospitals from 8 am on Tuesday (November 4) to 8 am today.
It was also said that in the last 24 hours, 403 people have been admitted to hospitals in Dhaka Metropolitan City, 219 in Dhaka Division (outside the City Corporation), 128 in Barisal Division, 99 in Chittagong Division, 68 in Khulna Division, 70 in Mymensingh Division, 34 in Rajshahi Division, 43 in Rangpur Division and 5 in Sylhet Division.
In addition, 302 people have died of this disease so far this year. Of these, 161 were men and 141 were women. So far, 74,992 people have been admitted to hospitals due to this Aedes mosquito-borne disease.
