3 more people die of dengue in 24 hours, 534 hospitalized

In the last 24 hours, 3 more people have died of dengue, the Aedes mosquito-borne disease. As a result, the total number of deaths from this disease this year has reached 50. In addition, 534 new dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals. This information was given in the regular dengue report of the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (July 29).
It said that in the last 24 hours, a total of 3 people have died of dengue, one each in Barisal, Mymensingh and Dhaka South City Corporation. On the other hand, the highest number of dengue patients (131) have been hospitalized in Dhaka division during this period.
Additionally, in the last 24 hours, 71 people in Chittagong division, 68 in Barisal division, 65 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 56 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 45 in Khulna division, 37 in Mymensingh division, 30 in Rajshahi division, 26 in Rangpur division and 5 in Sylhet division have been admitted to hospital due to dengue.
