4 more children die of measles symptoms
In the last 24 hours (8 am on Monday to 8 am on Tuesday), 4 more children have died of measles symptoms in the country. As a result, the number of deaths due to measles symptoms across the country since March 15 has reached 702 and the number of confirmed measles deaths has reached 95. The total death toll has reached 797.
This information was given by the Directorate General of Health Services in its regular report on measles today (July 21). It was informed that 4 more children have died of measles symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours. However, no one has died of measles during this period. According to the report of the Directorate General of Health Services, 1,08 children have been newly infected with measles and measles symptoms in the last 24 hours.
Since March 15, the total number of suspected measles patients is 1,19,448 and the number of confirmed measles patients is 14,708. Of these, a total of 1,2,244 patients were admitted to hospitals, of whom 98,411 have been discharged from the hospital and returned home.
