3 people die of dengue in 24 hours, 372 hospitalized

In the last 24 hours, 3 people have died of dengue across the country. During this period, 372 people have been hospitalized due to dengue. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Monday (July 20).
It said that in the last 24 hours, 67 people were infected with dengue in Barisal division, 54 in Chittagong division, 103 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 22 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 52 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 43 in Khulna division, 21 in Mymensingh division, four in Rajshahi division and six in Rangpur division were hospitalized.
The Directorate General of Health Services said that a total of 10,857 people have been infected with dengue so far this year. Of these, 60.9 percent are men and 39.1 percent are women. 9,786 people have recovered from dengue and left the hospital. The Department of Health also reported that a total of 37 people have died from dengue fever this year.
