Two expatriate brothers die in road accident in Saudi Arabia
Two expatriate brothers, Faiz Ahmed Sajeeb (29) and Farhad Hossain Sujan (21), have been killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia.
They died in a road accident on Wednesday (July 15) around 2 am Bangladesh time while travelling from Riyadh to Jeddah in a private car. They are the elder and middle sons of Abdul Malek, a resident of Khalifa Bari in Ganipur village of Chandraganj union in Lakshmipur. The incident has cast a shadow of grief over their village home.
Quoting the boys’ colleagues, father Abdul Malek said that Sajeeb and Sujan were doing business in Jeddah. Both of them had gone to Riyadh city on Wednesday to buy business goods. On their way back with the goods, a car coming from the opposite direction hit their car at around 2 am Bangladesh time on Wednesday. At this time, the front part of their car was twisted and twisted. Sajeeb and Sujan died on the spot.
Abdul Malek has sought the cooperation of the government authorities concerned to quickly repatriate their bodies. Meanwhile, when the news of the death of the two brothers reached their village home, a shadow of grief fell among relatives and neighbors. Chandraganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nilufa Yasmin Nipa said, “We are not aware of the incident. We will investigate and provide them with the necessary assistance.”
