Two journalists killed in road accident in Uttara on way back from watching a game

Two journalists were killed in a road accident in Uttara, the capital. They were seriously injured on the spot when a bus ran over them on their way home from watching a World Cup football match on their motorbikes early this Thursday (July 16).
It is learnt that a bus ran over them when they reached the area between Jasimuddin More and Rajlaxmi in Uttara. Later, they were taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared both of them dead.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Rabiul Alam Raju, a staff reporter of Dainik Pran Bangladesh, and Shakibul Hasan, a staff reporter of Sangbad Diganta. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies are working to identify the cause of the accident and the bus involved.
