June 9, 2026: How much is a 22-carat gold bhori?

The impact of the fall in gold prices in the global market has also affected the domestic market. After two rounds of price adjustments, the price of a 22-carat gold bhori has been fixed at 2 lakh 29 thousand 373 taka. The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price by 5 thousand 482 taka in this latest bhori.
BAJUS gave this information in a notification on Saturday (June 6) morning. The new price is effective from 10 am on that day. Today, Tuesday (June 9) gold will be sold at the same price.
According to the new price, the price of a 22-carat gold bhori (11.664 grams) in the domestic market will be 2 lakh 29 thousand 373 taka. In addition, the price of a 21-carat bhori has been fixed at 2 lakh 18 thousand 933 taka, the price of a 18-carat bhori at 1 lakh 87 thousand 674 taka and the price of traditional gold per bhori has been fixed at 1 lakh 52 thousand 857 taka.
