Youth hacked to death in Narayanganj

A youth named Jewel (45) was hacked to death by assailants over a dispute over dominance in Narayanganj port. The incident took place on Tuesday (May 19) morning in Shantinagar area of ​​Bandar upazila. Jewel is the son of Tajul Islam of Shantinagar area of ​​Bandar upazila.
It is learnt that Jewel had an argument with some local youths during a drive by Shantinagar upazila police on Monday (May 18) night. As a result, opposing terrorists attacked Jewel’s office and vandalized it this morning. At that time, they hacked Jewel and left him injured.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bandar Police Station Golam Muktar Ashraf Uddin said that a youth named Jewel was killed over a dispute over dominance. Police recovered the body from the scene and sent it to the Victoria General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
