Asha Bhosle’s last rites to be performed with love and respect

Indian music legend Asha Bhosle’s last rites will be performed today (April 13). Before the last rites are performed at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, people from all walks of life have gathered at her Lower Parel residence to bid her farewell.
From relatives to fans, politicians, personalities from the music and acting world of Mumbai gathered there to pay their respects. Before the funeral, Asha’s body was draped in the national flag of the country. She was felicitated with state honours. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also came to Asha Bhosle’s residence to pay his respects. Cricket star Sachin Tendulkar, actor Riteish Deshmukh, Tabu and many other stars were seen in Lower Parel.
Asha’s last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park in the afternoon after the funeral. Asha Bhosle fell ill last Saturday (April 11). Along with heart disease, he was also having breathing problems. Doctors said that he had multi-organ failure. He died on Sunday (April 12) due to this illness. In his long career, Asha has recorded countless songs for numerous films and albums in various Indian languages ​​and has won many awards. He has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and received the Padma Bhushan in 2008. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 1997.
