‘3 Idiots’ actor dies

Popular Bollywood actor Achyut Potdar has died. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor breathed his last on Monday (August 18) at the age of 91. He was undergoing treatment at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, India due to physical complications. The actor left the country from there and never returned. It is known that his last rites will be performed on Tuesday. In his four-decade acting career, Achyut Potdar has worked in more than 125 Hindi and Marathi films. He has acted in both commercial and critically acclaimed films with equal skill. His notable films include Akrosh, Albert Pinto Ko Gusa Kyun Ata Hai, Ardhasatya, Tezaab, Parinda, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Dilwale, Rangeela, Prabhu, Hum Saath Saath Hai, Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Dabangg 2 and Ventilator. His appearance as a professor in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, released in 2009, remains in the minds of viewers to this day.
