Youth stabbed to death by miscreants in Hazaribagh

A youth named Sagar Hossain Bullet (30) was stabbed to death by miscreants in Hazaribagh in the capital. The incident took place on Tuesday (July 21) at around 2 am on the road next to the temple in Shah Alam Goli adjacent to Hazaribagh Park.
He was rescued in a critical condition and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he died at around 5:30 am while undergoing treatment. The deceased Sagar Hossain is the son of Shahadat Hossain, a resident of Bhagalpur Lane in Hazaribagh. He was not professionally associated with any specific work. He had been working as a helper in a transport company for some time.
The auto-rickshaw driver who took him to the hospital said that while he was going to park his rickshaw in the garage after work, he saw a young man lying in a bloody and unconscious state next to the temple in Shah Alam Goli. He had multiple injury marks on his head. Later, after a local person called the national emergency service number ‘999’, the police reached the spot and ordered him to be sent to the hospital.
The deceased’s brother said, “We got the news through the police and locals. We still don’t understand who or what killed my brother so brutally.” The in-charge inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp confirmed the matter, citing the doctor, and said that the body has been kept in the morgue for autopsy. Police are working to quickly identify and arrest those involved in the incident.
