Younger brother dies a few hours after elder brother’s burial

Two brothers from the same family died within a few hours in Hajiganj, Chandpur. As soon as one brother was able to overcome the grief of the other, the entire environment was plunged into a sea of ​​​​sadness with the news of the death of the other brother. The incident took place in the Randhunimura area of ​​​​the municipality.
Yesterday, Sunday (June 28), Shahin (45), a resident of the house of the Shuku Commissioner in the Randhunimura area of ​​​​ward number 11 of the municipality, died. He was a fish trader by profession. His funeral was held after the Zuhr prayers. Later, he was buried in the family graveyard.
A few hours after the elder brother’s burial, his brother Alamgir Hossain (40) died on the same day at 10:50 pm. He had been suffering from various diseases for a long time. He was in Dhaka for treatment. Later, when his physical condition deteriorated, he was brought home. He breathed his last that night.
Local resident Md. Jasim Uddin Johnny Chowdhury said, “It is very rare to see such a tragic incident like losing two brothers from the same family on the same day. Their deaths have not only left the family but also the entire area in mourning.” Hajiganj Police Station OC Abdul Mannan said, “I have heard about the matter and confirmed the news of the deaths of the two brothers.”
