Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid said, time will tell whether the Prime Minister will go to the BRICS summit in India or not. I cannot say anything right now. She said this while talking to reporters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (August 3). It is being heard that the Prime Minister will receive an invitation to attend the BRICS summit.
In response to a question on whether there is any possibility of her going to BRICS in the future, the Minister of State said, ‘Time will tell. I cannot say anything right now. When the Prime Minister took office after being elected by the people, an invitation letter came from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he invited him and his family. Now again, an invitation has come for BRICS. The Prime Minister is busy with the country’s work 24 hours a day. So when, where, how and for what purpose he will go – only time will tell.’ There was a question from the journalists, a question has arisen in India – did the letter sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Prime Minister’s Office invite Narendra Modi as the BRICS President, or did it also include an invitation to visit India. In response, the State Minister said, “This is not really a topic for discussion here. Thank you.”
