Talks underway with Iran, no decision yet on major strikes: Trump

US President Donald Trump said that the United States is in talks with Iran, but no decision has yet been made on major strikes. Iran International reported this information on Saturday (July 25), citing several US media outlets.
US President Donald Trump said on Friday that Washington is in talks with Iran and has not yet made any decision on launching any major strikes. However, Trump warned that the US military is ‘ready’ to intensify the campaign.
In this regard, the Wall Street Journal, citing multiple sources, reported that in early July, Bahrain and Kuwait secretly sent fighter jets to attack military bases inside Iran, which was their first direct retaliatory action against Tehran.
The New York Times, citing four people familiar with the matter, reported that US President Donald Trump met with top advisers on Friday to consider intensifying military strikes on Iran. Meanwhile, the European Union has imposed new sanctions on five Iranian judges and the leader of a leading cyber group for serious human rights violations.
