Sleeping husband murdered

A man named Jahangir Alam Johnny (62) was killed by his wife on suspicion of extramarital affairs in Fatulla, Narayanganj. Police recovered the body from the house of the deceased’s wife Farzana Akhter Munni (42) from Delpara Mirza Bari area of ​​Fatulla on Monday (June 29) afternoon.
Locals said that Farzana left her previous husband and three children and married Johnny. After marriage, Johnny worked at the Sonargaon Hotel in the capital from Farzana’s house. Recently, Farzana came to know about Johnny’s extramarital affair with a girl at the hotel. The two quarreled over this.
They quarreled again on Sunday night. Then Farzana slit the throat of her husband Johnny while he was sleeping. When he escaped in the morning, locals caught Farzana and informed the police station. Fatulla Model Police Station OC Mahbub Alam said that Farzana has been arrested. Her husband’s body has been sent for autopsy. Efforts are underway to determine the cause of the murder.
