Seven more children die of measles symptoms, total death toll 620
In the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday Saturday to 8 am today Sunday), seven more children have died of measles symptoms in the country. During this period, 1,287 people have been infected with measles and measles symptoms. In the last 24 hours, 1,221 children have shown measles symptoms. And 66 children have been infected with measles.
This information was given in the measles report of the Directorate General of Health Services today, Sunday (June 7). Four children in Dhaka, one in Chittagong, one in Mymensingh and one in Khulna have died of measles symptoms. In this context, it is learned that 529 children have died of measles symptoms in the country since March 15. During this period, 91 children have died after measles was detected. A total of 620 children have died of measles and measles symptoms.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, measles symptoms have been seen in 79,120 children since March 15 of this year. During this period, 64,263 children have been admitted to hospitals with measles symptoms. Of these, 60,084 children have recovered and returned home from the hospital.
