Protests in Sweden against Israel over Gaza ceasefire violations
A protest against Israel has been held in Sweden to protest the ceasefire violations in Gaza and the ongoing embargo on humanitarian aid to the Palestinian territories. Hundreds of demonstrators took part in the event held in the capital Stockholm on Saturday (July 4). Anadolu Agency reported this information in a report today (July 5).
The participants in the demonstration, organized by several non-governmental organizations, held in Odenplan Square, carried banners and placards written in favor of Gaza and against Israel. They called on the Swedish government to increase diplomatic pressure on Israel and immediately stop selling weapons to the country. The demonstrators told the media that what is happening in Gaza is not a conflict, but a genocide and ethnic cleansing campaign.
