Prime Minister calls on everyone to be responsible in preserving the environment

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on citizens to be more responsible in preserving the environment. He said that every citizen, along with the state, has an important role to play in building a clean and livable Bangladesh. He told the countrymen these things in a message posted on his verified Facebook page today, Monday (August 3).
The Prime Minister said, “As citizens, we all have a responsibility to preserve the environment. If each of us fulfills our respective responsibilities properly, we will be able to build a clean environment and a beautiful country.”
Calling on the countrymen, the Prime Minister further said, “Let us all be aware of keeping the environment around us clean. This country belongs to all of us. Through small initiatives and joint efforts, we will be able to bring big changes for the country.”
The Prime Minister’s call has already received a huge response on social media. He has placed special emphasis on increasing awareness in environmental protection and the active participation of citizens in building a clean Bangladesh.
