Peace talks with Iran may resume in two days: Trump
Washington has imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports after recent peace talks between Iran and the US in Islamabad, Pakistan, ended without an agreement. In such a situation, US President Donald Trump said that peace talks in Pakistan may resume in the next two days.
Pakistani and Iranian officials said that delegations from both countries could return to Pakistan by the end of this week. However, a senior Iranian official said that no specific date has been set for the talks yet. In an interview given to the New York Post, Trump said, “You should be in Pakistan. Because something could happen in the next two days and we are interested in going there.”
