Only Allah knows what pain his son was given: Jamil’s father

The body of Jamil Ahmed Limon, a Bangladeshi PhD student who was murdered at the University of South Florida (USF) in the US, has arrived in the country. His relatives have already left for Jamalpur with Jamil’s body. He will be buried there after the funeral prayer after Maghrib.
The Emirates Airlines flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:47 am today (May 4). State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaid received the body. Limon’s parents and family members were also present at the time.
Jamil’s father Zahurul Haque said, “As a father, I tried to raise my two sons step by step. I did not cause them any pain. I did not give them any physical punishment. Whatever discipline I gave, I did verbally. I did not know that my son would die like this, only Allah knows what pain he was given.” This is what hurts me.
On the other hand, Jamil’s maternal uncle said that Jamil’s funeral will be held after Maghrib in Madarganj, Jamalpur. However, no specific information or indication of the murder has been found so far. He did not share anything about his roommate with the family. He did not inform the family about any kind of problem or trouble. He said that everything was going on normally. He also said, we want justice from the Bangladesh government and the US government. Jamil Ahmed Limon (27) was doing a PhD in Geography, Environmental Science and Policy at the University of South Florida. He went missing on April 16. Limon’s body was later recovered from the Howard Frankland Bridge on Friday morning.
