Jamaat showing signs of fascist behavior: Rashed Khan

Prime Minister’s Political Assistant Md. Rashed Khan has alleged that Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to question the government and is showing signs of fascist behavior. He said these things after paying homage and offering prayers at the tombs of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia on Monday (July 20).
Urging everyone to remain united in the interest of the state despite differences, Rashed Khan said that those who have formed new political parties are trying to thwart the initiative to reform the state. Instead of spreading propaganda, he called for constructive criticism of the government and cooperation in development activities.
The Prime Minister’s Political Assistant claimed that democratic behavior was not reflected in the activities of Jamaat-e-Islami. Now is the time to rebuild the state. Therefore, he called on all pro-democracy activists to unite and work for the development of the country.
