Israeli strikes on Gaza City industrial area

Israel has carried out fresh air strikes on Gaza City’s industrial area. According to local sources, the strikes damaged a metal processing factory and the surrounding area, killing at least four people and wounding several others.
The Israeli military claimed that the attack targeted a Hamas weapons production facility. According to its statement, the facility was being used for military purposes and was housing Hamas members. However, the Palestinian side says that the attack hit an industrial factory and caused civilian casualties. Emergency services are continuing rescue operations in the affected areas.
Although the ceasefire in Gaza is claimed to be in effect, Israeli attacks have continued in recent weeks. Analysts believe that the new attacks have further exacerbated the security situation in the Gaza Strip.
