Iranian Foreign Minister Arrives in Islamabad
Pakistani media outlet Dawn reported that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Islamabad. The Iranian Foreign Minister is on a three-nation tour. After his Pakistan visit, he is scheduled to visit Oman and Russia. Meanwhile, the White House said that US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner are leaving for Pakistan tomorrow morning for direct talks with Iranian representatives.
Regarding J. D. Vance’s absence from the meeting, Levitt said that the Vice President will closely monitor the entire negotiation process from the United States and will be involved in it. President Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the national security team will also monitor the situation. However, at the end of his statement, he indicated that everyone is ready to go to Pakistan if necessary.
