Iran holds mass wedding with military vehicles and missile display

Despite the ceasefire, the country’s government has held a mass wedding ceremony for 1,000 couples in the capital Tehran. Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported this information in a report on Tuesday (May 19).
The report said that in addition to traditional wedding ceremonies, various patriotic symbols were used in the ceremony. Instead of luxury limousines, the national flag, various portraits and military vehicles were displayed at the ceremony.
One of the venues for the ceremony was Imam Hussein Square, where 110 couples got married. As part of the ceremony, military vehicles were decorated with flowers and colorful balloons and used as wedding cars. In addition, domestic missiles made with the country’s own technology were seen at the wedding ceremony.
