Government is giving utmost importance to the development of education: Education Minister

Education Minister Ehsanul Haque Milon has commented that Bangladesh is not able to move forward as expected in the global competition due to its backwardness in the field of education. He said this while attending the ‘Graduation Night 2026’ program of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) on Wednesday (June 10).
The minister said that the current government’s Ministry of Education is not condoning any kind of bureaucratic complications. He mentioned that following the footsteps of former President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is also giving utmost importance to the development of education. The education minister further said that efforts are being made to build a non-discriminatory and prosperous Bangladesh with everyone.
At the same time, he expressed his firm determination to build a new Bangladesh by utilizing the opportunity of the sacrifices of the martyrs of the July Revolution.
