Each family of 6 children killed in Ad-Din Hospital will be given 8 million taka

The authorities will give 8 million taka to each family in the death of 6 children at Ad-Din Medical College Hospital located in the capital’s Moghbazar. This decision was taken after discussions between the affected families and the authorities. Lawyer Shishir Monir gave this information in his chambers at the Supreme Court on Sunday (June 7) afternoon.
He said that it has been decided to give 8 million taka compensation to each family affected by the death of 6 children. In addition, other benefits announced earlier will also remain in effect. Out of this, 1 million taka has been given to each family that lost a child.
Shishir Monir said that the Ad-Din Hospital authorities have asked the Department of Health for 48 hours to respond to the allegations made regarding the death of 6 children. It is worth noting that the hospital authorities have offered the families of the 6 children free treatment, educational assistance and jobs for life in addition to compensation.
