Diplomatic talks underway to prevent forced infiltration, BGB alert at border: Home Minister

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said that discussions are underway through diplomatic channels to prevent forced infiltration and the Border Guard Force (BGB) is alert at the border, we will not tolerate any forced infiltration. He said these things at a press conference with journalists at the Secretariat today, Sunday (June 7).
The Home Minister said that regular DG-level meetings are held between Bangladesh and India. Once this meeting was held in Bangladesh and the next time in India. This time the meeting is being held in India. He further said that all issues will be discussed in the DG-level meeting. This is called DGLT or DG Level Talk. After the discussion, there is a process of preparing a summary of the issues and signing it.
The Home Minister said that all border-related issues will be discussed in the meeting and the government is trying to resolve the problem through diplomatic talks. In addition, our BGB is alert, we will prevent all types of forced infiltration, illegal infiltration.
