Clashes between Argentina and Brazil fans in Sirajganj, 15 injured

A clash occurred between fans of the Argentina and Brazil football teams in Sirajganj. At least 15 people were injured in this. Several houses and shops were damaged during this. The incident took place between the supporters of the two teams in Mirpur Mohalla of the municipal area on Wednesday (July 8) night.
Locals said that after the match between Argentina and Egypt last Tuesday night, there was an argument between the Argentina and Brazil fans over the referee’s bias. Over this incident, the two sides pelted bricks and stones and chased each other last night. As a result, 5 to 7 houses and grocery shops were damaged.
Sirajganj Sadar Police Station OC Rakibul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident and said that there was an argument between the Brazil and Argentina fans over the Argentina and Egypt match. And a clash broke out between them over this trivial incident. Later, the police were quickly sent to the spot and the situation was brought under control. However, no one has filed a case in this regard so far.
