BNP gets permission to host Tarique Rahman

The party has received permission from the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner to host a reception on the occasion of the return of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to the country on December 25. BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Sunday (December 21) night.
He said that written permission has been received to host a reception on the occasion of the historic homecoming of the party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Sharaf Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury sent a permission letter in this regard to BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi at 8:30 pm yesterday.
Shairul Kabir further said that Zahid Hossain, an employee of the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner’s office, delivered the letter to the BNP central office in Nayapaltan. BNP Central Committee Member (in charge of the office) Sattar Patwari received it.
