17 children die in 24 hours due to measles and symptoms

In the last 24 hours, 17 more children have died due to measles symptoms. In addition, 1,456 people have been newly admitted to hospitals during this period. This information was given in a press release sent by the Directorate General of Health Services on Monday (May 4).
The number of deaths due to measles has reached 52 since March 15. On the other hand, the number of deaths due to suspected measles has reached 259. The Directorate General of Health Services said that the total number of deaths due to this disease in the last 50 days has exceeded 311. Of these, the highest number of 161 children died in Dhaka division.
