BGB arrests three Myanmar soldiers and policemen

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has arrested a Myanmar soldier and two policemen while infiltrating into Bangladesh. They were arrested from Ratangpara area of ​​Teknaf Municipality while crossing the Naf River on Monday afternoon.
Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Saiful Islam confirmed this information on Tuesday (July 21). The arrested are Myanmar soldiers Hyun De Te (38), Kyaw Naing (35) and policeman Thein Zaw (33). They are residents of Yangon and Maungdaw areas of Myanmar.
Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Saiful Islam said, “The BGB has handed over three Myanmar nationals to the police station on charges of infiltration. A case has been filed against them for illegal entry. After being arrested in that case, they will be sent to Cox’s Bazar District Jail on Tuesday morning.”
